is it possible to add cruise control in the ecm by reprograming it or we need to replace the ecm ?

 

That'd be nice. I would love it on my base model. However i have heard that it is realistically impossible. But maybe it can be done, i don't know too much about that stuff.

 

its been done via uprev. not too much too it iirc.

 

Its very doable, you just have to wire in the switches (there's a DIY somewhere on the forum) then get an Uprev reflash that enables cruise control for your ecu.

Did it on my friends 05 a few weeks ago , simple with the uprev flash

I've seen their website but I don't want to buy a program at 700$ just to have cruise control because I already have all the parts the only one problem is that the guy who had the car before me changed the ecm and now that one don't have it so does anybody can flash this for some cash ?

So this is just for 06+ ? Because i have an 03.

 

I'm pretty sure its for any year. You just have to wire in the switches like the DIY shows and then reflash the ecu with an Uprev patched rom that enables cruise control

 

My tuner (and I bet many more) are willing to do it without a tune for much less.

If you have any mods, you need a tune of some kind.
