I am replacing my thermostat and noticed that the smaller diameter hose that fits onto the thermostat is pretty soft so I would like to replace that hose. Does anyone know what the name of that specific hose is?

also make sure if the thermostat gasket is in a good condition before installing the new one.

thanks for the help guys! I got it taken care of...and I ended up changing the gasket as well.
