Hey folks im at work and my boss need input on our axles b4 prototyping a set for us. we need to knwo what breaks (be very specific) is it the center bar, outer cv, inside the boot (cage) or inner cv. all your input will help get us alot stronger axles and help us lay some serious horspower. please email us at driveshaftshop@hotmail.com

Haven't heard of any being broken yet.

 

me neither.

I don't think anyone (in the US, anyway) is making enough power to snap the stock axles. When we start seeing built motors under high boost, you might start seeing issues like this. I'll be curious to see how the tranny and driveshaft hold up as well.

A guy down here broke one and it was the center bar or shaft. It was probably the extreme as he drag races every week for points, and uses slicks.
