Default Does it really work?

Just did and overnight(12hr dissconnect) reset on my auto g35...just the other day i had a g35 rental sedan(for about 5 days) auto which shifted harder than my auto...thus the reason for the reset...after the reset the car still felt the same...also my g35 is not stock, has borla td, 350z tube and jwt popcharger, and a grounding kit(thanks waijai) any suggestions or reasons why?

no a battery disconnect does not work on these cars. there is an ECU reset procedure. if you do a search you will find it. I have it printed out and reset my ECU as a deem necessary (which is only after mods).

I was under the impression that disconnecting the battery resulted in the same situation as the ECU reset procedure. I could be wrong but I didn't think there was any difference.

This is for the Z but here is the site for the procedure for the ECU reset. Don't know if it works for the G though.

So my Z has been in storage, and before it comes out it will have some mods. I figured after 5 months of being disconnected it would reset, this not not true? Has anybody noticed any real difference after techno's reset procedure with a stock ECU vs some type ofe xtended battery disconnect?
