So wtf?

I got mine in today and unlike the oem one, the WR unit has the nipple at the top of the tank and not the bottom. Someone explain this madness to me please....

Edit: so I did find the nipple at the bottom .... But I'm even more confused..

What's with the other tube that looks like a sight gauge but is open at the end?

 

Prob a breather/ventilation. Have pics? Sounds like u didnt get the correct we coolant tank. There should be a closed off tube for coolant level and ends up facing the bumper(which i think is stupid). One nipple at the bottom and the fill cap.

 

I figured it out. It's a vent. Thanks for the help though.

And yeah the sight gauge faces the bumper so it's a pain to see.

Speaking of which, how much fluid should be in there? I just filled it up halfway.

 

Just have it 1/2 or under that soulf be fine
