Default difference in de and hr

i was just curious as to the difference in mounting locations of these motors. for instance if i had a turbo kit compatible with a hr motor. other than the dual intakes, what would i have to worry about? are the exhaust manifolds at different locations/heights? would I have clearance issues mounting a set of turbo manifold from a hr on a de?

you probably should just try and sell that kit and use the money to buy one for your actual car man, otherwise you risk it being all "Jerry rigged" and a turbo kit isnt something you want to be crappily put together you know? but like the guy ^ said theyve covered this question a lot i believe just search for it and eventually youll find the answer haha. good luck though man.

ok ok i see, well ill try and help you out, i have an HR and i was looking at exhausts and they say before the cat is different like the header and cat is different so im assuming if you have an HR turbo kit it will most likely only fit an HR but maybe they might be able to get it to work but then that goes back do you really want to buy a $2k turbo kit and have it blow your motor/turbos/etc because you got it to work by jerry rigging it you know? if i were you i would just buy the correct exhaust manifolds for your particular application and just try and sell all the stuff you cant use and recoup some of your money you know? thats just me though. and i apologize if i was coming across as a douche earlier.

its not $2k its 5700 used. twin gt37 bb turbos. and custom manifolds with 3 1/2 downpipes and cold side piping and intercooler. believe me. im not the kind to cheap out. i just thought i had a really good deal and wanted to see what the possibilities were. its a set of schedule 40 stainless badass manifolds.

oh well.
