i just swapped the tranny on my 04.5 to a cd009 and i noticed the throw for 1st, 3rd, and 5th gears seam much shorter. Also i hear what sounds like a belt whining while the car is sitting at idle once the clutch is pressed the whining goes away. does anyone know what would be causing this issue? Thanks.

 

also it came from a g35, would that change the position/angle of the shifter?

 

Possible throw out bearing.

 

seems like the whining has gone away, but no one has any idea on the difference in the angle of the shifter?
