Arrow Radiator Hose Question

I have heard, and only heard that it is possible to cap off the front long radiator hose that runs across the engine, that stems off the main hose? Just wondering if there is truth to this and if so what would be the risks.. Thanks

It's a fluid bypass. It can be removed, I haven't looked onto it much.

Thanks Guys ^^ Reason I asked is b/c I bought a Z1 master hose kit to replace the old stock ones. That hose runs behind my turbo and there is no way in hell to access it without removing a good portion of the turbo which seems silly for a freaking hose. but I do like the look of the hose going across especially since I got the new blue in color hoses. So I was simply going to cap it off on that end and tuck it so it appears connected. just wanted to double check it really didn't serve a huge purpose...

its needed..it recirculates the coolant while the thermostat is closed. i would only remove if you also remove the thermostat.
