Alright so about 2 1/2 weeks ago I had an ACT Street clutch, ACT Streetlite 17lb flywheel, Wilwood Master, and ZSpeed CSC installed on my Z. I left and everything felt normal. No weird noises or anything. A couple days later (250ish miles) I start hearing a very weird vibration/metal/chattery sound. This is not the ordinary lightened flywheel chatter.. I noticed that right after leaving the shop and everyday - but this noise I'm referring to is completely different and separate. It only happens every once in a while.. I feel like it only happens when coming to a stop.. I'll be pushing in the clutch, and as I'm letting it out it's just a very weird/harsh noise and vibration that I can feel through the clutch pedal as well through the shifter.

I tried to catch the best video I could.. and it's still hard to hear. Only happens when I'm not prepared to take a video -__-

Car is a 2008 with 63k miles on it. Never had any problems with transmission or anything.

Please turn your volume up to hear the noise as best as possible

I heard the noise on the second 'part' of the video, sounds like rubbing at the very end,havent heard that before. Does it drive any differently? break in over?

I would wait until the 500-600 miles is up on break in and see if the noise is still present.

 

Doesn't drive different at all. Drives fine. Just when the noise starts it scares me kind of and makes me scared to put it in gear and drive away..

Yeah I have about 200 more miles until 600. So we'll see.
