My car has been sitting in my garage about 2 months. Today, when I started it up, and turned on the defroster, it smells like radiator fluid inside the car.

Has anyone experienced this? I only drove it 5 minutes then back home, the smell did not go away.

My car has 1805 miles, I bought it 11 Jun 03.

Thoughts?

 

Guess I will take it to the dreaded dealer.

 

Same thing happens to my car. I notice a smell every time I get on the freeway,or I hit high speeds

 

I have never left my car sitting for that long. I have never had this problem.

Yes, I have the smell. I actually have a very small leak around the cap on the over-flow bottle.
