Default ACT clutch Question (important)

Hey all,

I got a friend who has 2008 350z and the OEM clutch broke down.. Everything else seems to be working (the flywheen, master and slave cylenders)

He is thinking is it OK (Recommended) to install the ACT clutch only and leave the rest as it is (OEM)

Prompt Replies are much appreciated !!

the OEM slave will not be able to handle the additional pressure of the clutch. not to mention with his being the HR motor the slaves are known for going out in them, i would highly suggest replacing everything.... i have the zspeed setup, which is a wilwood master, all stainless lines, and a heavy duty slave... he will never have to worry about it again

I recently had the ACT HD Street Clutch, Streetlite Flywheel, ZSpeed Slave, and Wilwood Master installed on my 08 Z. He will love it!

My slave/master didn't show many signs of going out but like stated above, it WILL go eventually.. So it is best to go ahead and do it all at once.

Would it be necessary/recommended to replace the slave, etc as I am installing an exedy nsk1000 clutch kit which is supposed to have near OEM attributes?
The slave & other external parts seem to be ok.
Thanks
