Default cd009 trans reverse shift rod/fork detent ball?

Wanting to know if anyone has taken apart their transmission and removed the reverse shift rod/fork and dealt with the 4 detent ball bearings that are in the holes in the rear housings mid-plate that fall out. I removed mine because my fork would not go out of reverse, but was somehow stuck in neutral and inspection of the rod was part of my search.

My Question is, does anyone know where the last detent ball bearing goes? Do two go in one hole? There are 3 slots on the rod and 3 openings in the rod hole BUT 4 bearings.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out
