I've searched around read about 20 different threads and it seems no one has asked this question. The general answer is go spend 500-800 on a cd009 Trans. Not that there is anything wrong with it but I just bought this transmission for 60 bux, 3rs and 5th are grinding according to previous owner. So before I pop it in I'd like to do a few upgrades.

1:is it possible?
2:whats the cost?
3:where can I find replacement internal parts?

This will be going in a Z32 so the torque will be increased.

 

i think you would spend more in parts than it is worth

 

u would be better off buying cd09.. try using redline fluid in the tranny you just got and see if that helps.
