Does the Z have a service connector that you have to jump to read the flashing codes?

No, you do the standard ECU reset, but when the SES lights starts flashing, you start counting :-)

Please- anyone have those codes?

Chris.

174 is bank 2 lean condition.

183 has to do with the fuel tank temp sensor.

Ah..FTT= Fuel Tank Tempature sensor....
the other one is fuel system too lean
Causes..
1)intake air leaks(did you recently install an intake?)
2)Heated o2 sensor(the one in the heads)
3)injectors(bad one)
4)Exhaust gas leak
5)incorrect fuel pressure(Clogged filter/bad gas)
6)Lack of fuel(same as 5)
7)MAF sensor
8)Incorrect PCV hose connection(see #1)
This is right from the service manual hope it helps..
