Im looking to get 4.08 gears and since the diff has to be dropped I thought might as well change the bushings instead of going back and dropping it again later. I've called some shops around me that are reputable and for something like this I wouldn't go to just some shop. So the best price I got was $1275. (included the ring & pinion $475, seals and bearings $265) Does $535 to install differential bushings and 4.08 gears sound about right? Thanks in advance.

 

Sounds about right. Actually cheaper than I'd have thought a random shop would quote.

 

Cost me $225 for my gear swap, and it was $175 for just a reshim when I swapped diffs. That was at Dans Driveline in Vegas, they are the shop that everybody in the local racing community goes to.
