Last Monday I lost all my slip, vdc, abs all at once. Every light came on at the same time like a Christmas tree. When it was on the hoist we spotted the problem. The driver rear axle has a snap ring on the end of the axle to keep it from traveling in and out of the wheel hub. This had broken and the axle had shifted half an inch away from the diff toward the rim. It was just enough to mis-align the sensor with the axle sensor band and shut down the whole system. Apparently they have a tendency to break when it is -43 degrees celsius outside !!!

wow. that's kind of disappointing. it broke simply due to temperature, even while under relatively little stress.
thank goodness it doesn't get quite that cold here.
sorry to hear about your situation.
