Got a retune scheduled for this weekend at Z1 and I'll be adding my 75mm TB. I'll definitely be posting the results.

What all mods do you have to hit 261 hp? Most people say you cant hit that with boltons especially in auto, I'm a fellow auto driver so am very intrigued by this. And the v+ is the kinetix plenum right? Also where did you get your tb from I had trouble finding a bigger one when I looked awhile back. And do you have a dyno? I'd really like to see it if possible.

It says its 100% pnp but has an adapter kit and harness, why? Is the harness just the tps sensor?
If I got just the tb would it still be plug n play?

the new TB has different connector than stock one. so you need the harness to go between the stock wiring and new TB.

i wouldnt waste your money on it. if it was a 80 or 90mm model maybe, but 5mm isnt worth it.

Yeah I won't waste almost $400 on 5mm I'd rather port my own tb for a fraction of the cost.
But at 80-90mm wouldn't you have to get an adapter to connect to the manifold, and port match it to the tb too to be useful?

I could probably fabricate the tb I have to a driveby wire and still be cheaper than thatpodproduct. (i have a 75 mm tb but it wasn't for this car)

I'm switching from the 1/2" & V+ plenum and put on V1 velocity manifold.

Mod list for 261hp/239tq: 1/2"plenum spacer & kinetix V+ plenum, '06 airbox, 3" MAF, cobb intake tube, crawford headers, Z1 HFCs, and Invidia gemini true dual. I loved having the power stay strong up to 6300 and having that as my shift point. If shifted past that, I could tell a small difference.

And the TB I have is not an official NWP TB. There's another member on here that found that an infiniti M45 TB is basically the same TB. I think the only differences are the M45 TB has 80mm intake side then tapers to 75mm on the plenum side, and it does not have coolant piping.

Thats some good numbers for that. I just gotta do exhaust mods now and I should be around the same numbers after tune. I have the z1 upper plenum but its p&p and my lower is p&p similar to the mrev2 so hopefully ill be right around those numbers too

Needs 3.5" or 4" intake with 3.5+" maf to get the most out of the nwp tb or any larger tb.

Lots of good info for getting closer to the 300 mark.

In regards to the auto owners, get a new rear diff with 3.5, 3.7, or 3.9 final drive. Best mod you can buy that completely changes the demeanor of the car and changes your butt dyno can instantly feel.

ya but I'm not at that point just yet. I feel that having the velocity manifold will help in taking advantage of the larger TB with 3" MAF. When I get to Z1, I'm going to see if they have any 3.5-4" silicone piping that I could swipe from them. I don't want to use any metal more than I have to as far as the intake piping. I like the way the silicone hose doesn't get just "piping" hot.

And my COBB hose fits....sorta

No I've already got the velocity installed. Just retuning after adding the manifold, and then installing the TB to see how much of a difference the TB makes.

Down at Z1 now, but Jon is alitte behind cause apparently somebody has done a hack job on some guys Z32....so Jon's trying to get a good tune on it. And there's another guy in front of me for a tune. Don't know if Jon will be up for tuning with OE TB, then returning it with larger TB. Oh well, I'll see if he's up for it or not.
