Default What causes nav/radio to stay on with car off?

Starting yesterday, my accessories/nav/radio won't shut off with the key off and door opened. I havn't messed with anything and not sure whats causing this to happen. I live in the midwest and we have had negative tempatures lately and dont know if that has anything to do with it (though it shouldn't). Usually when the key is in off position, pulled out, and door is opened the power is cut from the radio/nav ect. I have had to jump my car last night and this morning due to the radio still drawing power, even though it is manually shut off. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome- I live in Colorado so I know all about those sub-zero temps you're talking about. That shouldn't affect the off position of your key. If I had to guess, I'd say your ignition switch is going out and still allows power to draw to your accessories. This isn't an easy DIY, so your local dealer might be your best choice (before it drains the battery).

The negative temperature just makes it a pain to work on without a garage right now. Is there anyway to troubleshoot this before i take it to a nissan dealer? I was going to try a new accessory delay relay over my lunch break. I've pulled the battery cable so that it wont drain and also reset it. Most of the articles/forums that i've come across address the radio issue but they link that with an aftermarket stereo and not wired correctly. where mine is stock.

Without a warm place to work on it, you've got no chance. Trying to throw parts at it is a waste as well. While there might be someway to DIY your case, I'm not aware of it! Since this is an OEM setup, I still think the dealer is probably your best bet.

Thanks for your input, the remainder of the week i'm spending moving into a new house that luckily does have a garage. I plan on taking it in tomorrow or friday to get it figured out as it is probably out of my range of trying to figure it out myself.
