I'm wanting to install a trans temp gauge on my 04 auto when I install my aftermarket trans cooler but want to install it in line so I get a more accurate reading and I need to know what fittings I will need cuz the only thing I'm finding for install kits is the test port sending unit and I don't want to install it that way

 

I would use Russel fittings and do it on the side after it runs thru the cooler.

 

What I plan on doing is using a "t" fitting on the return side of the trans cooler
