Default denso 07 HR radiator issues

i have an 07 Z.

couple days ago, i noticed smoke coming from my hood, pulled over and saw coolant was splattered all over the place. temps were fine, but lots of smoke. and some sort of hissing sound.

towed the car home and ran it till it happened again. seems like theres a leak in the stock radiator.

so i got hold of a brand new denso 221-4404 radiator, but the top hose neck is at the very edge of the radiator, just like an 06 radiator would be, and there is a filler neck on the radiator itself. in addition there are 2 valves / nipples at the bottom of the radiator.
