VQ35DE Rev-up question
Hey guys,
Is it possible to replace exhaust vvt cam sprockets of Rev-up engine with non-vvt sprockets from vq35de engine?
Can it be done with just a pair of non-vvt sprockets or there are other parts involved?
Thanks.

Its because ex cams are going crazy at high RPM.
Car has 272* Kelfords.

Very possible,i have a revup as my spare motor that's being built as a normal DE. I went all the way and also swapped out to the normal timing covers

You will need a different bolt to use a non rev exhaust cam gear on the revup cam. As the threads are deeper inside the cam. I think I read you could use a vq30 bolt. But not 100%. I just know the de bolt is to short and the revup bolt is to long.
