Hey everybody, I own a 2003 Nissan 350z Touring (6speed Manual). I currently have a jwt popcharger intake w/ the z1 aluminum z tube installed on my Z. I also have a motordyne 5/16" Iso-Thermal Plenum Spacer installed as well. I'm looking into getting a kinetix upper intake plenum and a 75mm big bore throttle body.

My question is, has anyone installed kinetix upper intake plenum (or other performance plenum) fitted with a plenum spacer while being able to use the front oem strut bar and engine cover, as well as being able to shut the hood? It is my understanding that the kinetix upper plenum helps in decreasing heat soak, which recovers lost horsepower. as the plenum spacer does this as well. Is it necessary to use the plenum spacer with the kinetix plenum installed or will the kinetix plenum provide better results than the spacer, rendering the spacer less useful or even useless?? My other question is, will the NWP Peformance 75mm Big Bore Throttle Body bolt onto the kinetix upper plenum without having to do any modifications? Trying to get as many bolt ons as I can before I take my Z in for an uprev osiris tune. Thanks!
