I'd say 4.08 gear, LSD, intakes, ART pipes and tune. Might be a bit more if new but you can look around for deals.

4.08 is trq multiplier, it's a placebo to feeling it's faster you just shift more all its for is track specific and not nessecitating another shift at end of 1/4mile. I would go quaife/white line bushings and clutch and flywheel... If your a track guy, suspension and tires

You could get a vortech tuner kit for not that much more, throw in a 255 fuel pump, SS box, and gtr injectors...

Or just get some good springs, r888's (really good tires are a complete game changer more than any other mod), exhaust, fluid/pads, plenum spacer, test pipes, and a mail in tune.

Here I go again....

Driving school.

Stop me....

Too late. I's too quick.

The ONE mod that transfers to every car you'll ever own. And make every car you'll ever own more fun. And when you do get a bigger budget, you'll be ready to handle 545WHP.

Besides it's fun to drive a bunch of newbies up Haleakala to see the sunrise in an SUV that has no business getting up there that fast. Heehee....ask me what I did on my vacation.

But seriously....

Mic

Exhaust, test pipes, and tune should put you @ 270whp & be plenty reliable for years.

LSD, 4.08 = Best mod under 3k = no tune = win.

BC coils just like most coilovers come with crap shocks that don't even adjust the way they say they do. The adjustments on most coils are only really useful to kind of somewhat match them on a shock dyno.

And motordyne is cool, but wicked over priced. Get test pipes and a single exhaust of some kind and a tune. Swift springs and bilstien shocks if you're carefull can cost you about 900$ and will out perform most coil options for dampening and spring combo. And if you want to go full race car you can rebuild the bilstiens

welI I don't adjust the dampening on my bc coils it's not necessary unless your tracking. they perform pretty good for the under 1k price tag. I should of forked out the extra $600 and got kw v1s tho.
