Hi guys, i ordered a Mocal Thermostatic plate for the oil cooler kit im putting together, My question is which oil filter you guys run with this adapter. Currently i run the Purolator Pure1, any info would help. Thanks!

 

The threads are the same as OEM (if you order the correct part #) so use any oil filter you want.

 

^i think he is more worried about the stackup and length of the current oil filter

I have a mocal sandwich plate but I deleted the stock oil cooler so my stackup did not increase. I used a longer filter than the stock size. You should be fine with stock length.

 

Oh, well in that case I still have my oem exchanger, mocal thermo plate, and run a standard oem size filter without issues.

 

Sweet, Thanks guys! BTW., I used this site to order all the parts. Went with TruCool 36 row cooler, all AN fittings with socketless hose, and thermostatic adapter, all for under $260 I went with the biggest cooler, as i will be using the car mainly for track, and i live in a hot part of CA, i think the 36 row takes almost an extra full quart of oil.
