car jerk at 1000rpms
""FIRST - question for those who have intakes and exhaust and hr engine""""""
i just want to know if i'm not alone, im not asking for advice or solutions, just want to know if its normal.
EDIT: the reason why i dont want this to be a guessing game, is bc i played that b4, and now i'm starting to think maybe its normal to have this without a tune. and if its not normal, then i like to figure it out myself.
i got this one z, 08, hr, nismo intakes, hks replica exhaust (car came with em ). anyway,
car in 1st
i let the clutch out without gas
once it rolls i give it gas
and it stumbles/jerks/retards on 1000rpms, AS IF the clutch was not let off smoothly
then its good.
only does it at 1000rmps.BUT it does not do that IF i disconnect the battery and reset the ecu. so after i drive it for 50k miles, it starts doing it again.
So, anyway, my buddy has this also( and he too has intakes and exhaust), so i'm wondering if anybody else has this? simple yes or no would do. DO NOT reply "no" if ur car is stock stock.

Perhaps 1300-1500 rpm might work.

my bad for the mud, what i meant is when u disconnect the battery, it takes 50 miles to get all the sensors "ready"( to pass inspection anyway), so after the ecu recieves that info, it starts to do the stumbling, but within that 50 mi from the disconnected batter time mark - its fine. so after i drive 50k after i disconnected the battery, it starts to do that.

well when i let go the clutch, i can roll at 750, so to get to 1300-1500 i still need to press the pedal, and when it hits 1000, it stumbles. also if i let the clutch out while giving gas, then it does that also, i have yet to try giving it 1500rpms, and then letting go the clutch.

I was giving you a hard time but... Sounds like a normal clutch to me. You will always need to Feather the gas pedal when releasing the clutch. It's normal to depress the clutch and give gas around 1-1,200 rpm.

i meant that after i release the clutch, and its rolling already 1 -3 mph( the clutch is out all the way already), and if i press gas when its rolling already, it stumbles at 1000rm. i didnt mean that it stumbles if i let the clutch rough, i said it stumbles AS IF i were to drop the clutch
