Default CD009 trans swap into 2003

Are these the only parts when using a cd009 that should be replaces

Nissan OEM 350Z Pivot Ball 2004-2006 - Z33

Nissan OEM 30502-69F10 Transmission Clutch Throw Out Bearing - Nissan 350Z 03-06 Z33

ACT PB1012 Pilot Bearing - Nissan 240SX, 300ZX, 350Z, 370Z / Infiniti G35, G37

And usually the cd009 has the gap in the shifter assembly but the late 05 cd009 does not?

I think you need a new fork too but double check.

Edit: Did your CD009 come with a fork or not?

its actually on the transmission itself... the same is identical from what I could tell and internals are technically interchangeable from cd008 to cd009... how the Z transmissions differ:

2003 6MT
Double cone synchronizers in 1st and 2nd
No triple cone synchronizers

2004 6MT
Double cone synchronizers in 1st, 3rd, 4th
Triple cone synchronizer in 2nd

2005 CD008
Double cone synchronizers in 1st, 3rd, 4th
Triple cone synchronizer in 2nd

2005 CD009
Double cone synchronizer in 4th
Triple cone synchronizer in 1st, 2nd, 3rd

edit: I didn't pay attention when I swap it, but looking into the core of the cd008 I had, look on the dr side of the trans and theres some letters and numbers cast into the side

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I am going to be doing the swap on my Z aswell. What we’re all of the parts you guys actually used for the swap, and can you update us on how the CD009 is holding up?
