I'm not a Sea Foam fan, but there should be some good advice coming shortly.

I know I don't get it, all the videos iv seen smoke is coming out of both, idk if it has something to do with the true dual exhaust system or what, but this is the 2nd time iv seafoamed and the first time smoke came out of both but mostly came out the left but this time there's nothing out of the right

I evenly distributed the seafoam can and put it in my oil, gas tank, and the brake booster hose

But to your point. I'm not as concerned about the exhaust pipes being equal. Did you notice any improvement in driveability after putting this product in your car?

Money well spent?

Yes its a lot smoother, I just don't understand why all the smoke came out of the left and literally nothing out of the right

Let me get this straight. You put seafoam in your oil and brake booster? AFAIK, you should only mix it with a full tank of gas.

I mixed a half can with a half tank and did the rest from a vacuum hose once it worked a little bit. But in the oil??? That sounds like a horrible idea!!! Why would u do that?
You know it isn't a 2 stroke right???
Our oil doesn't mix with our gas it stays separated.

But only coming from one means only one side of your V engine has gunk in it... Pretty easy concept... The left had some gunk and the right side didn't.
But I would do an oil change immediately and get that ish out of there before you ruin your engine!

They sell it as an all in one solution, with 1/3 going into crankcase, drive 15 minutes and then change the oil. Some people swear by it, others think it's a gimmick.

I always go by what's inside the MSDS.

Ya true as long as he knows to change his oil then lol...
My buddy and me did a lot of research on oil back when we did it and came to the conclusion its more or less meant for older engines that have those issues... Our newer stuff doesn't necessarily have those issues... At least the HR and up... His DE back then smoked a good bit and as I said mine didn't much and he has a 09 370 now and hasn't tried it yet bc with our custom tunes we run pretty clean.

Just looked at MSDS and remembered why I'll never use it.
Isopropanol (alcohol) < 25%
Aromatic hydrocarbon solvent < 90%, but they refuse to list exactly which solvents, claiming proprietary secrets.

I'll go with Techron and Berryman B12.

It probably only came out of one pipe because you used the vaccum brake booster hose to induce it to the intake. The brake booster port is located on the left hand side of the upper intake. So my guess is you only fed those three cylinders with seafoam, thats why only one pipe was smoking.

FWIW, I don't EVER use additives other than that which is recommended by the manufacturer - Techron being one of those.

But that's not to say that SeaFoam is bad as there are many test reports and lots of satisfied users.

Personally though, I think a lot of it is hocus pocus (read: "marketing".... and as a career sales person, I am naturally skeptical about said "marketing". Laff.... If you don't get that, you can ask me about that cynicism and anti-marketing sentiment in The Lounge)

The word "placebo" comes to mind.... But who am I to say, not ever having used the stuff nor ever finding a reason to.
