Default Rear diff swap- couple questions

Hello Guys,

I swapped the diff on my z from a non vlsd to a vlsd rear end. It was almost smooth sailing. I was having trouble torquing up the 14mm bolts and nuts that connect the axels to the rear diff stub shafts. some of the nuts were getting tight but eventually just started spinning. Then i couldnt take them out when I tried removing them. I was able to get two off that we're spinning. Turns out that threads became stripped. I was able to take out 2 of the 6 or so stripped nuts.

No idea how it happened. I'm using a 1/2" socket torque wrench. Not sure if that was an issue. I was having clearance problems torquing some of these. I think I saw clearance issues with torquing the drive shaft as well. Should I be using the 3/8" socket instead?

Couple questions:

1) could someone tell me the part # or provide a link to the bolts use on the stub shafts and axels? I am just going to buy a set of bolts since the threads are ruined.

2) any recommendations on getting this bolt off easily? They are tightly put on so I don't have any space. My friends recommended blow torching it. Safe to assume these nuts are heat treated?

This is my first time ever doing something like this. So my bad if I sound stupid! Also, I have been searching for these bolts online. I foundem once and killed the page -_-. I plan to check the Nissan parts site since they always have those blown up diagrams. Thanks for any help!

Juan

There really should be minimal clearance issues when removing and torquing the drive shaft and axle nuts. Rotate the drive shaft and axle as needed for each nut to gain the space required. Follow the fsm for torque specs.

To remove use a breaker bar or impact gun. Should come off with no issue. Use extension or deep socket if you have fitment issues.

So I was able to get everything on. Now I have vibrations when I do 65+Mph on the highway. It does get worse. I'm wondering if it's the differential or maybe some other part. No idea what it could be but I have a buddy who's gonna help diagnose this thing next. Thanks for your help!
