Default Whining noise after cold start

Hey fellas!

I've had my '03 350Z for a couple of months now and recently I've noticed a whining noise when I start driving in the morning and this lasts for about 5 minutes then goes quiet.

Basically of a morning after starting the car I let it sit for about 2/3 minutes to warm up and can't hear anything but as soon as I start driving, even slow, I hear a noise which resembles an electric motor and increases the more I accelerate. Temperature in the morning is around 14degC, I also notice that once I get to work the car sits for basically the same time it does at night and doesn't make the noise then (temperature about 22degC)

Has anyone experienced this? I will try to get a video tomorrow morning.

They all do it.

Most common things with owning a Z: whining noise after cold start, flywheel chatter, window motors die, and door closes on your shin several times a year.

Thanks SQuaLZ, yeah I've had to replace one window motor already and the other one is on the way I'm not complainng though, like many on this forum I love this car to bits and I'm ready for whatever it throws at me. Here's the video, the sounds is noticable only at the 19 second mark

I think some of your pulleys' bearings going bad need to be replaced! It can be the A/C, water pump... bearings etc...
