Default 35de transmission bellhousing removing

I will start off with.

I have read the removal procedure twice now for removing the forward and aft bellhousing a from the adaptor plate and that all makes sense to me.

My only question is for those that have done this, have you had any issues with items detaching from the center section that holds the guts when pulling the forward bell housing off? Any kind of retainers, spacing material, or grommets to keep an eye out for?

From what I remember Nissan used liquid gasket to seal those sections.
Just use a flathead and pry apart.
Nothing that I remember being an issue really. Keep and eye on the shifter fork shafts as one or two separate from roller bearings in the front of the case.

Cool. This is the info I was looking for.
I have never opened a trans before and nothing is mentioned in the manual or shown in pictures.

Thank you.
