Default G35 turbo build (VQ35DE)

Im getting an 04 g35 next month and I'm planning on boosting it but this would be my first turbo build and I don't wanna mess anything up. I wonder what kind of turbo I should get, how much boost I should run on stock internals, and if I should go twin or single.

4 82mm turbo at 50 psi will be enough.

His point is you are talking about doing a significant modification to your car and you have no base knowledge or at least come across as having none. Think about your goals, look at other peoples set-ups that are making similar numbers that you want and go from there.

What kit do you want to run? Are you building a kit yourself? Are you staying stock block? Are you racing the car or is it a street car? If you are racing are you doing HPDE, drift, ect? "What turbo should I run" is one of the last questions you should be asking.

I want to get 400 horsepower on a street car for now with a stock block and stock internals and I want to make the kit myself

First, read the FI section. Next, do your homework and come back with a semi intellectual question. THEN we can continue.

400whp, with a custom ser up. Is your budget 50k or 5k? Difference between a single built and a twin build....

Ask a serious question, youll get a serious answer.

Ask a vague question, you get vague answer.

You can buy a nice pre-made kit with a tuning solution for your budget.
