Default Converting a narrowband Autometer A/F Gauge to wideband?

PLX Devices

I found this website and they claim to make a device to switch the Autometer A/f Gauge to wideband. I have a Carbon Fiber Gauge and was going to install a oxygen sesor in my test pipes. What do you guys think? Is it worth $35 + 5 shipping?

You have one of their WB O2 controllers and WB 02 already right? Why not just use the display vice trying to figure out what tick you were at while driving at WOT. Digital display seems much easier to read than a bunch of tick marks.

How do you like their WB controller? Have you compared it to WB on a dyno by chance?

Hmm I didn't read that correct. Well it is about a $300 investment!! I will have to think twice about it. I emailed them and this is the response I got:

Jason,

Our wideband controllers are much better than AEMs. We only specialize in wideband controllers and it is our mission to design and product the best and most accurate wideband controllers on the market.

We offer a few extra features. Linear output, 4 digit digital display, and o2 heater soft start, which prolongs wideband o2 sensor life.

You will need 2 things to get your setup running with your Autometer gauge.

1) M-250 or M-300 wideband controller
2) Autometer NB->WB gauge converter.

Here's how to connect everything together.

We do have these items in stock and ready to ship. Thanks

this is a very late post, but i actually went with plx devices a while back when i converted my autometer a/f gauge from NB to WB. the converter it self is cheap @ $40 or so, but you will also have to buy the WB o2 sensor which cost me $300 also from pls. easy to hook up. i just had a local muffler shop weld a new bung in my test pipes and i did all the wiring without a prob.
