Default Water in gas after fillup

OK have drained and clean tank well. Added new gas and changed spark plugs and still runs poorly but will at least crank. Check engine light is on what's next to check? Thanks

Bad gas wont make check engine go on i don't think never did in any of my cars. Any leftover water in fuel system just use engine heat. Engine heat i tested it's 98% methanol and 2% water or other. alcohol mixes with water and as long as the alcohol/water mixture does not go below 95% it will mix with gas. 94% and below and it will separate which is why water an d gas can not mix. if you really think your problem is water then try a bottle of heat in your tank.
