ECU Reset Help/Bullydog System
Hey everyone, I have a 2007 Nissan 350z which has a speed limiter on it that is capped at 70MPH (which is horrible) i need some expertise and help right now. There was a bullydog system in the car but it was taken out after the spees limiter was put in. So i need that specific bullydog handheld part but its no where to be found. My dad put it in and i want to get it out. My plan was to reset the ecu, buy a new bullydog and put all the same codes that the car has now except for the speed limiter. Would that work? If not how do i go about this? If i reset the ecu will that take the code for the speed limiter out? Please help, very very much appreciated!!

Your ECU is locked to the tuner he used. You can buy another, it won't do anything for you.
You dad seems like a pretty smart guy, if he is real smart, he would also set the rev limit to 4K rpm

OP - earn your dads trust, drive the car responsibly, dont be the d-bag while driving...
Does anyone find it ironic that the father allowed / bought the car for you but capped it at 70mph...
truth be told no speed limiter is going to protect you from yourself nor other drivers...

Looks like OP decided to not come back after the first couple replies. That did give me a good laugh and if the guy is 16 probably a smart thing to do. I can't even remember how many kids died in high school I knew from stupidness in cars. I've been in areas where the highest speed limit is 55 on the freeway for 30 miles.
