Default 2500 limp mode limiter but no CEL.. HELP

So i drove my 2004 350Z DE this morning and it was fine. I came home and washed it then we had a flash thunder storm. After the storm i went to drive but it wouldnt rev over 2500 rpm in any gear and neutral. I didnt get any CEL so i reset my ecu like a dozen times (battery cable and pedal dance). Ive checked my scanner for pending and stored codes, no luck. I watched live data and nothing seems to be out of line.

I suspected the culprit to be my MAF so i clean it thoroughly in 99% isopropyl and same with the connector. Still no luck.

Car also has an intermittent and very minor misfire like a hiccup at idle and it backfires after trying to rev it (probably excess fuel from limiter?). Also smells worse than a 2 stroke now.

Mods: test pipes, plenum spacer, oversized rad, short ram intake (oil less), and uprev tune

Sounds like you IPDM may have gotten a little wet. Check it.

I never thought of the IPDM. Moisture in the IPDM can cause a simulated limp mode?

Yes. If it gets wet it can cause an array of electrical miscommunications.
