Default Cold gear change

Hello,
when it's cold outside and my car is freshly started i have a problem to gear up to 2nd gear. Just when the motor gets a bit warmer then gear change is without problems. Until now – specially in summer – gear change was not a problem even when motor is cold. My question – would it solve the problem if i have used oil with less viscosity? If so could you please recommend any specific kind? Or if you have any other solution could you please advice?

Thank you.

Get fully synthetic gear oil and make sure you're not putting in a higher weight than it calls for.

Both of the above. ^^^

Redline MT85 or Nissan GL-4, 75W85, no thicker, no thinner.

While you're at it, take a good look at the rear seal, could be that you're simply low from a leak and the gear change putz just started happening coincidental to the temp drop.
