I just installed my Z1 Motorsports hfcs and I love them. They make high revs sound down right pornographic. My only question now is, how can I improve the sound even more? I still feel like I can't hear it as much as I want to. Full aftermarket exhaust systems are illegal here in VA. Is there a high flow muffler? I can't remove it legally. Are there aftermarket systems that start after the cats? I love the hfcs, I just feel like the muffler and maybe the small diameter pipes are hurting performance and sound. Thanks!

 

"Full aftermarket exhausts are illegal here in VA system." - It looks like anything that's louder than stock is illegal and you cannot have straight pipes.

All the aftermarket exhausts start after the catalytic converters you just need to find one that's about as quiet as stock but sounds better. The stock exhaust is not hurting the performance just noise.

 

I just keep checking the classifieds for a used Nismo S-Tune exhaust. It comes from Nissan and it is 50 state legal.
