Default U1000 Cranks But No Start '04 Greddy TT

Just swapped the engine from my g35 into my 04 6mt z and it cranks but doesn't spark. Fuel is being delivered. I have code U1000 and that's the only code. I checked all of my grounds, at least I think, replaced my crank sensor, reflashed my base map, added grounds, and retraced everything I touched but found nothing.

Motor was running good in the G35 putting down 445whp but won't run in the Z.

I'm supposed to drive a few hours away on Thursday to get this thing dyno tuned but this is a huge roadblock. Anyone have any advice to find the root cause?

Vats light turns off like normal
Radiator fans are acting normal
Coil packs have 12v at them and their ground is good

U1000 is can bus failure.

Guessing the OBII works off a different network so that is the reason why you can flash.

The cranking of the engine has 0 to do with the ECU...your starter circuit is all relay and ignition cylinder. The ECU controls the fire signals for coil packs and injectors

Any other modules not plugged in?

I fixed it late last night!

Edit: sort of, u1000 and c1130 now are still eminent, but it runs great...

After going over every harness ground and connector I realized it wasn't a wiring issue. You can go thru the fsm grounding and they show which devices share grounds. Used that to rule out everything after checking every fuse. At least it convinced me to look elsewhere; neglecting a broken wire or loose connector on a can bus module god knows where in the car...

Ended up swapping the cam pos sensors, put it on a 50 amp jump booster, and it fired up slowly with p0335. Bad crank pos sensor too. Swapped that out (back to original one). Now no codes, u1000 might still be lurking, I'll have to check today. Arc features here I come

Thank you for the reply
