Default Transmission swap on 07 350z

I own an automatic 2007 350z and my next thing to do is convert it to manual which I can do myself once I've gotten everything I need. I have heard and seen some people on YouTube place in a 370z transmission(possibly 2009) or if newer ones will work aswell and was wondering if it just slaps on there after of course a couple moddifications. I don't plan on buying another 350 just for it being manual I just want to build mine up.

It'll bolt up just fine, but you will loose the SynchroRevMatch system that comes with the 370Z tranny. Also, you will have to manually wire in your reverse lights(easy), starter interlock switch(easy), and neutral position switch(if your Z has cruise control). You will have a U1000 code because your TCM will be missing. After the swap you can have that removed with a ECU/ECM reflash.
