Default faulty injectors?

04 350Z car threw a 1283 code, it runs lean with Kinetix high velocity intake K&N cool air Hypertech Max2 power tune, Zex 55 wet shot, 2.5 exhaust no cats with 6sp manual. car started misfire or so it sounds around 4500rpm, and now during idle, have checked for air leaks, and have none. any advise greatly appreciated

I would first start by cleaning the injectors. I had a misfire and cleaned them and it went away. Some stp injector cleaner fixed it for me. If that doesn't work then you can go to the actual injector. remove the planum, then fuel rail. go to the injector in question with a multi meter and measure the ohms. I believe a 350z injector should have around 14 ohms of resistance. Hopefully that helps.

You can tell a lot by the condition of the plugs.

thank you, when I pulled coils 1 and 6, there was a massive amount of oil in plug wells. did 365cc injectors new plugs and coil packs, car is doing as well as it can, untill I can afford a tune. I did copy down the instructions you gave, and kinda went from there.
Thanks Again
Dave
