Default Differential Cover

Hi,
I'm replacing the 370Z standard differential cover with the NISMO cover. The cover is bare i.e. no plugs or connections. I need to swap over the breather pipe but the existing appears to be a very tight fit and I may destroy it trying to remove it. Is there a way of removing this rigid vent pipe without using heat? I've read somewhere that there may be a non-return valve within the pipe? I would appreciate any help before I damage it and have to purchase a new vent pipe.

Buy the new breather tube, its not worth the hassle to remove the old one.

HI, Thanks for that. I found that the breather hole in the cover will accept 1/4" NPT thread so have ordered a hose tail to suit.
