Default The Dreaded P2135 AGAIN

Hey all. I've recently had p2135 pop up again. Replaced the throttle body twice, no bueno. Replaced the pedal sensor, still happens. Process of elimination suggests a wiring issue somewhere. Not sure if it's relevant, but every time this issue happens and I have to pull over and shut the car off, my head unit resets to demo mode. I don't know if that is a clue for diagnosis, but I'm not particularly skilled at electrical issues so I'd seriously appreciate any advice anyone can give me. If it's something I can't fix, I'm happy to take it to a dealership, but I'd obviously rather avoid that if possible.

Thanks.

Pedal reset, ECM relearn, what was your particular experience?
