Exclamation 2005 350z Trans replacement!

Hello, im looking into a 2005 350z for 5000$ but there is no transmission and bad suspension. The car is in great shape and it only has 60k miles on it so it caught my attention.I was wondering what transmission I should put in it because I have heard many options and lots about the 3rd and 4th gear grinding on certain transmissions.I have a pretty good budget on the car I just dont know what to put in it.

1.What Transmission should I put into a 2005 350z?

2.What suspension should I put on a 2005 350z.

also on the suspension I plan to make the car a daily driver so comfort is important.

Depending on when the car was produced, it was most likely produced with the "good" transmission, the CD009 (full PN 32010-CD009). If you are going to pick up a trans go for this one (or its successor, new PN 32010-CD00A).

Suspension is wide open. Would suggest Bilstein B12 Prokit (Bilstein B8 shocks with Eibach Prokit (sorta) springs as a bundle), cheaper than buying springs and shocks separate. You get the firm, controlled, but civil ride of the Bilsteins, with a mild lowering with the springs.

If I were to go with a new PN 32010-CD00A what do you recommend for cost on a used one or a used one at all?

Hard to say. Depends on how thrashed it is - if you can find one used. New from Z1 or Concept Z or Courtesy Parts, ~$1700 brand new. (Which, for a brand new trans, is not a bad price.)
