My z will crank for about a second and then It just start making a constant whining noise with a little click

 

Ever think of checking the starter?

 

took starter out took to auto zone passed for good starter

 

Have you had to unplug anything recently? Take anything apart?
Sometimes when you have to dig into the engine and unplug things, WITHOUT disconnecting the battery, it'll throw codes if something is missed and sometimes create a loud squealing sounding like the belt. If everything is plugged in 100%, first try simply resetting the system
