I'm installing a catch can after swapping in new valve covers. Maybe a dumb question, but is my hose too long? I was trying to run it in a way where it would rub on as little things as possible, but I don't know if the length of it could negatively affect anything. Thanks!
Looks fine to me. I have a similar setup but routed to an open breather. I mounted it to the front as well so that the cover would conceal it to avoid questions for annual inspections.
The hose is probably not as long, but as long as it's not kinked or in any danger of melting, you should be fine.
While the length of the hose ultimately doesn't matter or negatively effect anything, you could always get a 90 / 135 / 180 degree fitting and definitely change the routing to be much shorter if it actually bothers you.
