Hey guys/gals, I tried to post this question on FB, waited 3 days and no response. Anyhow, I’ve got a problem, when I started to turn the engine over with ratchet, to install converter bolts, I heard a scrubbing. After removing the starter, the sound goes away. So, obviously striking the starter with flex-plate, my question is why, this engine/trans combo had never been separated, till I had to install Z transmission, found out the G trans had a different wiring harness, I’m sticking to the Z stuff in my Z. But anyhow, long read, what could this be ?
