Default RSR vs Pro 1 vs Invidia

Need help folks

I'm thinking fo getting a after market exhaust. I'm looking at the RSR exhaust but they are kind of pricey (or maybe I'm just cheap) but I also see the Pro 1 and Invidia exhaust that seem to look and perform close to the RSR.

Are they major difference as to why I should pay $200+ more for the RSR as opposed to the Pro 1 or Invidia?

Any help is appreciated

I think you should save your money and get the Pro-1. You're just paying more for the name of RS*R

Word on the street is that there's a Version 2 of the Invidia exhaust on its way very shortly. Anyone know any details about this?

From the sound clips they all sound somewhat similiar. So I don't think you will notice a big difference there. The big difference I notice is in the finishing details.

Inivida USED to be a brand name of RSR until it was bought by and independent company in the mid-late 90's...there's a little history for you.

The thing I don't like about the Invidia exhaust is the ugly nameplate they welded to the I-pipe where it Y connects to the mufflers.

The Pro N1 is more affordable and all of the pipes are polished, including the I-pipe. Nice touch This is nice, looks real sharp.

I like the welds and finish on the mufflers on the RSR the best. There is a shade of gold to them that looks fantastic. The I-pipe isn't polished, but IMO no one ever see's it anyway. Plus, I am one who believes in a name. Reputable comanies are out there for a reason. I installed my RSR this past Sunday and it's really unbelievable. Thanks again Brandon at Gruppe-S.

Too bad it started snowing again and I can't drive the Z

Thanks guys for your help

I decided to go with the RSR exhaust. I'll fork over the extra money because I don't want to second guess after I made the purchase. I like the Invidia and Pro1 but its seems they are RSR like...it may be just a name but you live once...what the hell

Thanks for the input

Good choice. I just ordered my RSR as well. After talking to Koji at RSR, and comparing to many others, RSR was the clear choice.

You'll love the RS-R. It absolutely screams and it looks great too. Plus having the optinal silencers make it real cool for more casual type days

I love it...very loud but nice a deep. I'll ride with the silencers most of the time but without them on the weekend.

I feel the gain but don't know how to quantify it.

The finish on the exhaust is excellent with the copper welding. It fit perfectly easy to install.

I definately recommend the RS-R

Default New Invidia exhaust

Scott and everybody, Invidia tested their new Cat-back titanium tip several weeks ago and are making some tweaks to it. I would guess another month or two before it's released...maybe longer.
