GReddy Evo 2 Install
click on images for a larger view
I will post better images of the Dyno runs tomorrow, but here is one I took with my camera
Only difference between the 2 runs was the GReddy Exhaust
If you can make it out, this makes loads more HP and Torque at lower end much faster!
(not concerned with the top end lost, we can fix that, and smooth it out all the way up.
At 3560 RPM's the
Torque was
213
vs
243
HP
300
vs
340
Dam it feels night and day to! Holy smokes!
Here is the Dyno run with the GReddy Evo2 Exhaust
Dyno Run Video & Sound Clip
More pictures and Dyno charts tomorrow

According to Greddy's website, the piping is 60-70mm, which is about 2.75-3.0 inches. I imagine most of the piping is 2.75. Aside from the center piece resonator, it's all dual piping. I imagine they went with a single resonator at the y-pipe to reduce noise levels. Remember this exhaust meets the federal sub 95db sound requirement, which is a key selling point.
ACP, Question for you. Noticed that the 2nd set of silencers, that sit just in front of the rear differential...appear to be very close to the chassis of the car. Have you heard any vibrations while driving, caused by those canisters hitting the body? Also, have you noticed any ground clearance issues?

Yes indeed.. some pics wold be nice.. but concerning the factor that it does go into 1 pipe the seperates again.. would you think that greedy would make an exhuast that wouldn't be the best for it's own TT? maybe a stupid question <shrug>
Also if you could make some vids of out of car shots.. would like to hear what the gear sounds like without the loud dyno engine overpowering the mic on cam. Grats!

A main factor of this install looks like you relocated the heat shield/emissions box. How hard was it to do that? I actually kept mine in stock location but used carbon fiber mufflers to absorb the heat/ minimize any potential problems. I think i'll heat wrap it also sometime soon.

Yes and indeed surprise that they changed it, especially after I asked them about that bend before, and they didn't seem to concerned with it.
Also asked them about going into one pipe, and they said that they tried it both ways, and didn't see much of a difference, but was better for equalizing pressure ?
Have to go back through my notes on what their find was..

Oh, please post the full dyno ASAP. I am in the process of sourcing these exhaust locally. (Thanks for the quote.)

The others are runs I did with high flow cats with stock exhaust
(lost 20 hp with the high flow cats vs the test pipes)
They high flow cats are just to restrictive for the TT
PM me if you need a set.
Ask Gus above on the test pipes, he just got a set from me. Very nice.
