Default Cam Install Labor Pricing?

Price a install for cams dealer 1,400.00 reputable independant 1,100.00, man thats how the cams cost. Does this sound hefty to you? Do you know anyone in the Los Angeles San Diego area whos has a better price?

2nd of all the dealer said since they were not carb legal , I would have to have the car towed there and towed off the property with no plates. I dont know if he was just saying that to cover his A$$. but IMO I thought that sounded ridiculous. any other thoughts on why this could be? thanks-BigErn

Go to the independent. But yeah, the price is right in line.

Definitely use a dealer, my dealer was $1,500, I called Courtesy in Dallas and they wanted $2,500.
