Why do RX7s and 240's use them if they have benefit only for FWD?

I'm going to get one and try it out. If it suck I'm going to send it back and instead of being all up on your nuts Moog I'm going to crack'em.

well i was going to add to my previous post...at least on my old rsx it eliminated wheel hop and you could feel a lot of vibration in the cabin...imo if you have a problem with engine movement then mounts would be a better solution

I got the 5 Zigen one - not on my car yet as it needs some trimming of the bracket to get it around the Kinetix manifold

If I can get a couple of benefits out of the damper, it's worth it. In this case I'm thinking that it'll lessen the engine twist in the frame and won't cause my left high flow cat to rub against the heat shield (fairly severely). The second thing is that it should provide a more solid link throughout the drive train--if it's just a noticeably better feel, I'd be game. The only thing is that I don't want a bunch of vibration through the cabin.

(Yes, I'm going to try to re-position the left cat to give it more space between the heat shield--I bent the shield a little, but that wasn't enough.)

So does the people that installed this suffer a vibration in the cabin?

And not the rest of the cabin? Like the steering wheel. That would be the most important thing for me, the most noticeable one?

well, update on mine - got the 5 Zigen one to fit around the Kinetix manifold, but it will not clear the Cusco coilovers I had...oh well.

at least it was a sponsored part though I really liked how it was looking (esp after painting the "shock" body black)

i have TWO of them on my car, they hold up my trunk when i open it. (thats what the 130 $ looks like to me)

i am however very interested if it eliminates wheel hop at launches, i HATE that!
